You keep the offer you joined on. The Affiliate Agreement is the contract.
How a referral pays you
Share your link
You get up to 3 live links. Send one to a painter, a cleaner, a landscaper, anyone who quotes work.
They sign up through it
If they create a Chalk shop from your link, that shop is yours to earn on. Same email as you does not count.
You get paid through Stripe
Connect Stripe Express. When they pay Chalk, your cut is transferred from Chalk's Stripe to yours.
What the offer can look like
The live numbers come from the program, not from this page. An offer can be one of these, or a mix, for example $25 when they first pay plus 10% each month they stay.
A one-time amount
You earn a set amount when the shop first pays Chalk. First subscription payment, not a free trial.
A percent each month
A share of the Chalk subscription for each month they stay. Extra seats and usage packs only if that offer says so.
A flat monthly amount
A fixed amount each month they remain a paying Chalk shop, instead of (or on top of) a percent.
You keep your deal
The offer you joined on is yours. If a better catalog offer shows up later, you can upgrade from your dashboard. That upgrade applies to new referrals only.
Each shop is frozen
The day a shop signs up, their deal is locked to the snapshot you held at that moment. Changing your offer later does not rewrite shops already on the board.
Until they cancel
You earn each month the referred shop stays on Chalk. The live offer says how long that runs. This intro offer has no month cap.
A free desk
Join, confirm, get paid
A partner account is not a Chalk shop. It is a separate desk for people who send businesses to us. No subscription. Confirm your email, then connect Stripe when you want money to move.

Your marketing
You run the ads. You own them.
Chalk is not responsible for how you market. Ads, claims, emails, texts, landing pages, endorsements, all of that is yours. No bidding on the Chalk name without written OK. No spam. No pretending to be us.
- FTC endorsements, CAN-SPAM and TCPA are your job
- Do not wrap a link in malware, or we will disable it

FAQ
Is this a Chalk customer account?
No. A partner account is a separate desk. It does not give you a shop, a text number, or a Chalk subscription. If you also run a business on Chalk, that is a different account.
When do I get paid?
After a referred shop pays Chalk, and after you have connected Stripe Express. Payouts are transfers from Chalk's Stripe account to yours. Stripe handles tax forms.
What if the offer gets better later?
You keep the offer you joined on. You can opt into a better catalog offer from your dashboard. That upgrade applies to shops you refer after you switch. Shops already referred stay frozen at the deal they signed up under.
Can I refer myself?
No. A shop that signs up with the same email as the partner account is not credited. The program is for sending other businesses to Chalk.
How long do payouts last?
It depends on the offer. The intro offer pays until the referred business cancels Chalk. Some offers may have a month cap; that is written on the offer when you join.
