FAQ
What happens if I cancel?
No contracts. It renews monthly until you cancel, and cancelling takes one press: you keep working to the last day of the month you paid for, and your data exports whenever you want it.
Can I bring my data from another system?
Yes. Import your customer list from a spreadsheet in minutes. And everything you put into Chalk exports back out whenever you want it: customers, quotes, invoices, photos, all of it. It's your business.
Do you take a cut of my payments?
No. Card payments run through Stripe at their standard processing rate, straight into your own account. Your subscription is the only thing Chalk charges.
What does the text number cost?
Email works today. A real text number is included. Sending needs a one-time carrier filing of about $20 (card for that cost, not for the month). Receiving works while that is pending. Already have a number on Quo? Plug it in instead. To send texts, US carriers require a one-time business registration. That is $20.09 added to your next bill, of which $19.50 is the registry and carrier fee we pay on your behalf and the rest is card processing. Chalk keeps none of it, you are only billed once the registration actually goes in, and receiving texts works even before it's done.
